what: our goals
- Encourage people to reflect upon one's daily water consumption since water is a limited resource.
- Promote environmental awareness throughout all levels of society.
- Highlight concerns over water security at national and international levels.
- Combine disaster prevention with education.
when
The project was officially launched June, 2012 and is scheduled to last for 2 to 3 years.
where: TRIPs and conferences
The team is based in Taipei, northern Taiwan, where most of the work is done. But we often travel to other cities to attend conferences, workshops, events and more. The team will also be travelling to other parts of Taiwan to host one-day camps once the first prototypes have been developed.
why
The reason is simply because we value the importance of water to life. More people should be aware of their consumption patterns and their surroundings.
how: Development and Delivery
HOW WE DEVELOP:
All types of research is ongoing throughout the length of the project. Research may come in the form of interviews, general literature review, attending workshops, attending conferences and visiting sites around Taiwan. The data gathered is processed and fed to the game programmers, who are also in charge of game designing, and the writers in charge of producing modules/lessons.
Furthermore, expert forums are held to validate the accuracy and content of the games and modules. Pilot studies, the camps, are held to test and validate the efficiency of using this learning method in Taiwan's context.

HOW WE DELIVER:
We intend to host camps in the near future using non-traditional teaching methods via the process shown below. We hope to engage the students through this learning method so that they may truly absorb what they're leaning and not forget once the event is over. The first camp held will serve as a pilot study to improve future camps.
