introduction
Water is an element we interact with on a daily basis, whether we can see it or not; yet most citizens from developed and even developing nations are unaware of how intrinsically dependent their lives are on water. From the food people consume to the clothes they wear or even the type of transportation they take to work, everything used and consumed on a daily basis requires water.
Sponsored by the Taiwan's National Science Council, a dedicated team from National Taiwan University's Civil Engineering Research Department has been working to develop interactive digital games designed with educational content. The aim is to provoke thought and discussion among students and hopefully other members of society. The games touch upon a range of water topics, which will be enhanced through educational material in both digital and non-digital format, also produced by the team.
